Overview
The BlueWater Low Elongation (static) Rope is polyester sheath over a double twist nylon cable core. Designed with load absorption capabilities to provide additional safety in the event an accidental shock force is applied to the rope.

Description
The BlueWater Spec-Static 1/2" (13mm) Rope is constructed of 100% low elongation polyester fibers. Static elongation is 1.8% at 3000 lbf, 2.6% at 600 lbf. and 3.4% at 10% of Minimum breaking strength. Used when the need for low elongation is more important than the need for energy absorption such as in haul systems, long rappels and highlines. 32 carrier sheath construction is smooth, stays round and is not lumpy.
