Description
The Billy Pugh Helicopter Rescue Net has been proven effective by airborne Search & Rescue crews around the world with hundreds of lives saved. Originally named Building Fire Nets (BFN), these nets are designed for multiple occupant helicopter rescue. Twelve feet high when fully open, BFN nets collapse for compact transport to evacuation site. The BFN net is the most widely used multiple occupant helicopter rescue device in the world.
BFN-4 Specifications:
Suspension BFN nets attach easily to cargo hooks (for short haul procedure). If the helicopter is not cargo hook equipped, the nets can be suspended by an optional Yoke Band through the body of some helicopters. Note: Hoisting not recommended due to size of net. Fiberglass Heat Shield - Optional If applicable, an optional 1,000° F Fiberglass heat shield can be incorporated on the BFN as an accessory to facilitate removal of evacuees from fire environments.
