Rescue Laser Flare® Magnum

The Rescue Laser Flare® Magnum is a hand-held laser signaling device that provide a convenient, effective way to signal a rescue party 20 to 30 miles away, depending on atmospheric conditions.

The waterproof, rugged design combines the safety of a laser signaling device with the convenience of a flashlight. Unlike flares, the Rescue Laser Flare® Magnum is non-flammable, non-hazardous and can operate continuously for hours on replaceable batteries.

What's the Difference Between a Rescue Laser Flare® and a Conventional Pyrotechnic Flare?

Conventional signaling devices are flammable, hazardous and only provide a short amount of signaling capability.You can't fly with them on an airplane, refuel a boat, and it's possible to injure yourself or set the forest on fire when lighting a pyrotechnic flare. Rescue Lasers are a compact, safe, effective alternative that can last a lifetime - all you have to do is replace the batteries!

Long-life Operation
Flares last a few minutes then expire. The Rescue Laser Flare Magnum (RLFM) operates for 72 hr. hours before needing to replace the (AA) batteries. The laser diode itself has a 10,000 hour meantime life.

Covers a wide area and can be seen from a long distance.
The signal from a Rescue Laser Flare® Magnum can be seen 20 miles away at night ground to air and 2-3 miles during the daytime compared to an average of 1-3 miles day or night for most strobes lights.The Green Rescue Laser Flare® is visible up to 30 miles at night and 3-5 miles during the day! While pyrotechnic flares are visible at long distances, their short duration make it difficult to determine the source of the signal.

Compact and portable
