Overview
FAA TSO-C13f Approved

The TITAN XF Helicopter Crew Vest is a manually activated, self-inflating twin cell life vest designed for continuous wear by crews aboard an aircraft during flight over water.
Description

While in flight, the TITAN XF is worn deflated and folded to a compact size to provide maximum comfort and mobility for the wearer.  The Helicopter Crew Vest is designed with an open area collar to be placed over the head and onto neck and shoulder area, so that the vest rests on the chest of the wearer.

The vest is secured around the waist to the wearer using a harness strap.  The folded shape is neatly maintained by means of hook and loop (Velcro) fasteners that disengage and release upon cell inflation.

It is equipped with equipment pouch which can store day/night flare, signal mirror, sea dye marker, PLBs, flashlights and personal items.

The TITAN XF is designed for easy refold, rearm, and inspection by flight crews without sending the unit to repair stations.  The CO2 cylinder and light can be replaced by crew members.  Aircraft owners/operators may perform service inspections at their own facility every 90-days.

Periodic Maintenance Inspection by a professional repair station recommended every 24 months.

The Part Numbers for TITAN is as follows:

1) LSI P/N:              - TITAN Life Vest w/o D-Rings (Model No: P01253-101)
2) LSI P/N:              - TITAN Life Vest with D-Rings (Model No: P01253-103)

FEATURES

• The TITAN is a more compact vest and it's easy to wear as it has a deeper neck line.
• The vest cover is designed to protect the cell material and hardware components (Oral CO2 inflation tube).
• The Mesh allows the crew to maneuver better and provides greater comfort.
• The TITAN is equipped with Equipment Pouch / Front Pockets, which can store day/night flare, personal items, etc.
• The crotch strap is a standard feature, which is carefully tucked away under the side pockets when not in use.
• Donning Instructions are provided on both the Cover and the Vest.
• Available with optional D-rings, for easy ocean retrieval.
• Frequency of Inspection is 24 months.
