The 3 Layers are: Base Layer, Thermal Layer and Protection Layer. This item is part of the Thermal Layer. Helly Hansen W-fibreblock® pile or Crafter Fleece™ retains a layer of air that insulates you from the cold. The materials provide good ventilation and allow moisture to escape. The insulation layer is designed to keep your body at the right temperature and to provide optimum comfort in every work situation. Its useful as an outer garment as well as part of a layering system: Crafter Fleece is a true multi-purpose thermal garment, with the right balance between insulation, wind protection and breathability. Fleece is used as the active layer of choice by mountaineers and outdoor people because of its ability to function in a wide temperature range at varying activity levels. HIGH COMFORT Crafter Fleece™ is made of a spun polyester yarn (320 g/m). which has been brushed and heat processed to provide a permanent lofty Thermal Layer. Because the fibers are synthetic, they do not retain moisture so the garments dry quickly and resist light rain and snow. Warmth in relation to weight is very good, resulting in light functional garment.
