Life Support International, Inc. provides complete Overhaul, Repair, and Modification programs for Parachutes, Inflatables, and Survival equipment. LSI's own In-house FAA Certified Repair Station #LFPR314K provides full repair on most makes and models of inflatable safety equipment.

Additionally, we have the capability to environmentally package (vacuum packaging) parachutes, life rafts and accessories, extending the service life and minimizing inspections.

All Overhaul, Modifications, Recertifications and Service Life Extension Programs (SLEP) are performed by U.S. Government licensed technicians, in accordance with applicable specifications, drawings and approved repair station operating and quality procedures.

A New Approach for the Replacement of Old Equipment
Life Support International, Inc. is a full service company providing our customers with support that includes overhaul, remanufacture and recertification of existing equipment. LSI has long recognized that much of the equipment being utilized by our international customers is becoming increasingly difficult to procure and very costly to manufacture in small quantities.

Fast Delivery & Turn Around Time
Delivery time to manufacture many types of parachutes is often in excess of one year from the time an order is placed. In most cases, LSI can offer a turn-around time, for overhaul or remanufacture, under a service life extension program (SLEP) in a fraction of the time for new manufacture.

Cost Savings
Typically, remanufacture/overhaul of a system is approximately 60% of the cost for a new system.

Extend Service Life
Upon completion of the overhaul, remanufacture or recertification, the component will have the same service life as a new or replacement item.

Redesignation or Recertification
After an overhaul and recertification, the customer can acquire an additional piece of equipment that can be used for other purposes. Ordinarily, over aged parachute canopies are discarded at the expiration of service life. For example, when a parachute system is overhauled, we replace the over aged canopy with a new one and offer the customer the option of having the over aged personnel parachute canopy modified and redesignated as a cargo parachute.

Training & Logistics Support
LSI technicians will work directly with our customers to develop the most appropriate approach to a modernization and service life extension program. This segment of a service life extension program may include training, technical, facility, and spares support.
